How to Prepare Pasta with Salmon
This delicious pasta dish with salmon is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a special occasion. Packed with flavor and nutrients, it’s sure to please everyone at the table.
Ingredients
- 200g of pasta (such as fettuccine or penne)
- 250g of fresh salmon fillet
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 200ml of heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh dill or parsley, for garnish
- Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces and add it to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flaky.
- Reduce the heat to low, and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well and let it simmer for a couple of minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together gently, ensuring the pasta is well-coated with the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnishing with fresh dill or parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
