Garlic and Minced Meat Goulash Pie
This savory pie blends flaky goulash pastry with a delicious filling of minced meat and garlic, making it a perfect dish for any meal.
Ingredients
- 500 grams of goulash pastry
- 300 grams of minced meat (beef or lamb)
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon of ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the minced meat, salt, pepper, coriander, and cumin. Cook until the meat is fully browned and cooked through.
- Remove the skillet from heat and let the filling cool slightly.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- On a clean surface, lay out a sheet of goulash pastry. Brush with oil, and then layer another sheet on top. Repeat this process for about 3-4 sheets.
- Add a portion of the filling in the center of the layered pastry. Fold over the sides to create a sealed pie shape.
- Place the pie on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and repeat the process with the remaining pastry and filling.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
Serving Suggestions
