BBQ Fried Chicken Sandwich

Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 4 burger buns
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup coleslaw (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour, or overnight for the best results.
- In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off, then coat each breast in the seasoned flour mixture.
- Fry the chicken in hot oil for about 7-8 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Once cooked, place the fried chicken breasts on paper towels to drain excess oil.
