Pasta with Sauce
This Pasta with Sauce recipe is a delicious and easy meal that anyone can prepare. It’s perfect for a quick dinner or a cozy family gathering, combining simple ingredients to create a comforting dish.
Ingredients
- 300 grams of pasta (spaghetti, penne, or any type you prefer)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can (400 grams) of diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add the diced tomatoes and dried basil to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Let the sauce simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until well coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to combine the flavors.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
