Chocolate Chip Cupcakes

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips carefully to avoid overmixing.
- Divide the batter evenly among the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
