Quick Pizza Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant dry yeast
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Any toppings of your choice (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, etc.)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes foamy.
- Add the flour, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the base.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top and add your favorite toppings.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and enjoy your homemade quick pizza!
